Do you know the value of your firearm or firearm collection if you were to have a loss due to fire, theft, flood or other causes?
What about if you wanted to insure your collection, sell it at auction, or sell to someone else, do you know what your antique or modern pistol, revolver, or long gun is worth in today's market?
There are numerous reasons why you might need a certified appraisal of your collection. Here are just some of the reasons:
- Auction/Resale
- Insurance
- Estate Planning
- Divorce Settlements
- Gift/Charity
- Bankruptcy, etc.
A Certified Firearm Appraisal is now available to anyone desiring to value their firearm or firearms collection. My services are available to the Tucson, and Southern Arizona area and I would be delighted to help you to evaluate your collection. Written appraisals usually run about an hour per firearm at a minimum.
Due to recent changes in ATF laws, Firearms Appraisals left overnight (or more) for evaluation will require a background check upon pickup. Therefore, I can either:
1) Come to your home, photograph each item extensively, and then research your firearm from my office, or
2) You may bring your firearms to me at the office where I will photograph each item extensively and you can return home with your item(s) while I research and complete the appraisal.
Need an Appraisal but are out of my area? No problem, you can ship the firearm to me and I will appraise it for you and send it back with a certified written appraisal. However, upon return I must send your firearm to your local FFL dealer so that they can run a background check. Go to my Shipping Instructions to Tucson Gunsmithing page for details on how to ship to me.
